I enjoy hiking with my husband, ice skating, skiing,reading, and learning to play the flute.
How did you get involved with CLC?
I was introduced to the Conductive Learning Center by myneighbor. I toured the previous facility and attended a fundraising banquet. Iquickly realized what a difference conductive education can make in a person’slife and have stayed involved every since.
What draws you to CLC’s mission?
I am fascinated by how conductive education can change achild’s perceived potential and the tools students are given by CLC’s conductorteachers to help students continue to grow, learn, and accomplish their owngoals.
What would you want to share about CLC and its programs thatmaybe some readers don’t know?
I want everyone to know that personal donations are a veryimportant element needed to keep the school running. I also want more familiesto know and take advantage of the sliding scale scholarships that CLC offersfor families who need financial assistance.
What is your advice to someone who is looking for ways tohelp CLC and get more involved?
CLC can always use your financial support, but we also wantyou to spread the word about conductive education to your friends, teachers,and medical professionals. Not enough people know about this wonderfulintervention for young children with motor movement challenges. Come see theschool. Watch the teachers and students working together.
